Photoshop For Professionals - Best Programs Available

If you are a serious photographer, I am going to assume that you use some type of photo editing software like Photoshop. Who doesn’t? You can take your great photos and make them look even more professional.

You probably already know how to use Adobe Photoshop (or similar programs) and don’t need to bother with programs that teach you the basics. But if you are a seasoned “photoshopper” and want to learn even more special techniques, then there is a great program for you.

“Photoshop Fast Track For Digital Photographers” by David Peters is a program all about Photoshop for professionals. It doesn’t begin with the basics that you already know, so you won’t be bored by anything. You don’t have waste time hearing about the basic options on the toolbar. Instead you will jump right into advanced techniques.

You will be able to easily remove red eye from photos (although you probably already know how to do that) to make people look normal. You will also learn to edit the backgrounds in photos. Want to take out that distracting pole in the background? Maybe add some clouds instead? You can do many things to alter the backgrounds and make them more pleasing to look at.

You will also be able to change colors easily. You can change the color of clothes, eyes, hair, or anything else you want. You can learn to adjust colors and contrast to make images look even better.

Another section focuses on making panoramic images. If you take multiple pictures, you can learn to connect them to make one seamless high quality panoramic photo.

One of my favorite techniques discussed is the selective color tool. You can make a picture all black and white except for the objects you choose. This is great for weddings since you can have a black and white photo with only the ring or flowers in color. Very professional looking!

There are also many more techniques you can learn about. Most are geared toward making high quality photos, but some are just for making silly pictures and having fun. No matter what you want from this program, it can help you. The lessons are all in video format so you will know exactly what to do.
